Narrative Description
Reporting to the Head, Global Partnership and Learning Innovation, IATA Training & Development
Institute, the incumbent will closely coordinate with the Product Managers and the Manager responsible for examinations assisting with design, development and update of training and examination materials

Responsibilities


  •     Be responsible for the course content design and review in terms of methodology for both classroom and distance learning;
  •     Support NPD projects in training to enhance the learning experience through a variety of delivery formats;
  •     Ensure the consistency and quality in all ITDI training solutions;
  •     Cooperate and collaborate effectively with the product authors and the product managers to deliver engaging and practical training content for IATA's learners;
  •     Contribute to building the virtual classroom platform for global audiences;
  •     Ensure our examinations support the learning objectives directly;
  •     Determine the validity, reliability, objectivity, comprehensiveness and proficiency of IATA examinations;
  •     Liaise with Product Managers in Distance Learning to develop the IATA exam question items;
  •     Produce student assessments using available resources as per the decided test design methodology;
  •     Perform analytical reports in order to improve quality and efficiency of exam items and correct/re-design the exam items as necessary;
  •     Any other instructional design assistance required, including administrative tasks.

Qualifications and Skills
  •     University degree, with specialization in adult learning, educational technology or related area;
  •     1 - 3 years minimum experience in designing and developing learner assessment strategies or working for a training provider (university or college) ; Knowledge of the key instructional system design models and methodologies in training and development (particularly ADDIE);
  •     Strong writing and analytical skills; with proficiency in English;
  •     knowledge in any other language such as French, Spanish, Mandarin, Arabic, etcProven organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail;
  •     Ability to work effectively as a team member in an international and multicultural environment under pressure and meet deadlines;
  •     Highly computer literacy:
  •     fully familiar with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and using the Internet;
  •     Experience in the air transport industry would be an asset.
