Client Description
Our client, a specialized BC-based civil engineering consulting firm (Land Development, Transportation, Stormwater, Municipal) has been experiencing tremendous growth in recent years. With an impressive roster of projects and more in the pipeline, they are actively seeking a Project Manager who will head up the organization and successful completion of a portfolio of projects. The incumbent will be a natural leader, engaging employees and ensuring client satisfaction and business deliverables are met on an efficient manner.
Job Description
- Direct and coordinate technical employees or consultants in the preparation of studies, designs, plans, specifications and cost estimates
- Develop project work plans and schedules, discuss project priorities with client, plan assigned program.
- Ensure that all project components and activities meet local, provincial and or federal codes and regulations.
- Reconcile project performance against plan at project completion, and conduct customer satisfaction assessments.
- Initiate the request for proposals, tenders and other competitive selection procedures
- Prepare cost estimates and budgets.
The company will expect from you:
- 5+ years local civil design or project management experience and PEng with APEGBC
- Thorough understanding of regulations and approval processes
- Natural leadership capabilities with strong ability in business development
In return you can expect:
- $70-110k, depending on experience
