The Senior Geotechnical Engineer will be leading the company's geotechnical engineering projects through meticulous project management and actively mentoring its team of engineers.
Job Description:
- Manage a roster of geotechnical engineering and foundation design projects, with a focus on overall project management while performing technical output (design calculations, layouts, power transmission and distribution design concepts, testing implementation)
- Provide direction to various project teams to ensure specifications and schedule deadlines are met
- Liaison between client, contractors and the project team
- Guide and mentor the engineers with your expertise in the field
The company will expect from you:
- At least 6 years experience in geotechnical engineering, piling/ structural foundation design and project management a must
- Degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering
- P Eng with APEGGA, or eligibility for registration
- Extensive knowledge with geo-modeling software and testing programs
- Relationship-building nature with exceptional leadership and project management skills
